More ducks

The ducks are off their nest and enjoying the sun and a paddle.

Ducklings again

Mummy duck is off the nest and we can count 9 healthy ducklings. Can you spot them all?

Ducklings

The first of our ducklings have hatched. We don’t have a final count yet, but it looks to be quite a few.
They started hatching at about 7 this morning.

Victorian day

The whole class really got into character for Victorian day. We experienced some Victorian style lessons and even had a scary visit from Mr Yeates. We finished the day off with a Victorian tea party.

Nature treasure hunt

We used paint charts and sticky tape to go on a colour hunt around the adventure playground.

Salad Faces

As part of our DT week we designed and made salad faces today.
We used a range of tools to cut vegetables and then arranged them in the shape of faces.

Trip to Kent life

Fruit salad

We made our own fruit salads using some fruits we know and some we had never tried before. They were all the fruits from the story Handa’s Surprise which we have been reading this week.
Some of us were very adventurous in trying new things.

Sun safety from Nurse Zoe

Now the weather is getting nicer Nurse Zoe thought she would come and talk to us all about sun safety. We already knew lots of ways to stay safe in the sun. Now we just have to remember sun hats and sun cream every day!

iPad number hunt

We went on a number hunt on the adventure playground with out iPads. We had to use our iPads to scan QR codes that were linked with pictures on our sheet. The iPad then told us which numbers we needed to complete our number sentences. We then had to find the answers to all the questions, using the number splat app to help us.
